Spring Time Fun

We are well into spring time and the weather has finally started to warm up and give us consistent sun. The perfect way to brighten up your outfits and compliment the fun colors of the season is with your jewelry. Overall, runways have shown us that the minimalist vibes are taking a back seat and the general consensus of letting your accessories speak for you are in.

The beauty of bold pieces are that they can be used to be the perfect bow on a simple outfit, or can take an elegant evening look into fashion forward territory. This season and for upcoming summer the industry is having fun playing around with textures, different colors of metals, and architectural designed pieces that are sure to stand out.

 #1. Bright Colors

Stand out colors are the way to go this season and the trend will continue through summer. Use these bold pieces to compliment or even better contrast with an already killer outfit. Some of our favorites are the Tulsi Earrings whose long green tassels add instant drama, the Feroza Necklace Set whose colored beads delicately contrast with the pearl and kundan detailing, and Davi Earrings whose beautiful stone work comes in an array of fun flirty colors.

#2. Architectural Perfections

Pieces which cause you to take a second look in how they were designed or pieces with straight clean lines fall into this category. This season grab a pair of earrings with a funky twist, or don a necklace showcasing multiple textures. Our Nekita Earrings are classically large round earrings with a unique geometric pattern embedded in its crystal work. Additionally for a twist on metallic texture, our favorite Parisha Necklace is based off of a braided gold plated choker from which contrasting metallic and colorful accents dangle.

#3. Fun with Metals

Designers have found a way this season to play with different colored metals and accent their already gorgeous pieces with them. Not only does this technique lead to beautiful pieces it also helps in creating versatile pieces that can go with both gold and silver pieces one might already have in their jewelry boxes. The Diana Necklace Set is our favorite pick for a reception look, it is heavily encrusted in crystals and is both gold and silver plated for a regal look. The every funky Rajasthani Earrings combine not only gold and silver plated accents together but also come with a unique shape and a understated pop of fuchsia.

#4. Heavy Chokers

Chokers came back in style last year and the trend continues to stay. These beauties work with any neckline and instantly draws a persons eye. The Ami Choker Set is modernity at its finest with its industrial looking metal base accented by dainty pearls and mirror work. One of our other favorite chokers is the Prianka Choker Set for which we have no words. Its designer ensured that the end result would be a necklace that was dripped in crystals and heavily accented with pearls.
